Purchasing

Online purchases from this website may be made by residents of the U.S., for delivery to clients in the continental U.S. We are currently unable to deliver online purchases outside the continental U.S.

Product Availability

All products from this website are subject to availability; as necessary, we reserve the right to limit the quantity of products we supply; supply only part of an order or to divide up orders. We also reserve the right to shorten the terms or duration of any special offer or sale promotion. You will receive an email confirmation of your order, likewise we will inform you via email if we are unable to fill your order.

Pricing and Payment Options

While we try to ensure that all prices on our website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of the merchandise you have ordered, we will give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or canceling it. If we are unable to contact you, we will treat the order as cancelled. Title to any products you order on this website, and risk of loss or damage to products, passes to you on delivery of the products to the address you provide. Prices displayed on the Darby Scott website are in U.S. dollars. Darby Scott accepts the following forms of payment:

The transaction will be charged to your credit card only after we have verified your card details, received credit authorization, confirm stock availability and your order is ready to be shipped. Your credit card will not be charged at the time you submit your order.

Note: Special/Custom Order Items

On Special Order items we will we require pre-payment and we will take payment at the time of your order. This applies only to items marked available for Special Order.

Sales Tax

Darby Scott charges state, local and county taxes to New York residents on online transactions, as required by applicable laws. Please note that your on-screen transaction total reflects estimated tax. The actual sales tax will be calculated when your order is shipped and may vary from the estimated tax.

Shipping

For security reasons, Darby Scott online purchases may be shipped only to the billing address of your credit card and will require a signature upon delivery. All purchases are shipped via UPS. To estimate the total delivery time for your purchase, please allow one to three business days to process your order for shipment, in addition to the time indicated by your shipping method. We currently only offer UPS three day select. We currently do not ship overnight. Orders are processed and delivered Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Darby Scott cannot be held responsible for unanticipated delays.

A shipping confirmation will be emailed to you as soon as your purchase has been shipped. To ensure the security of you delivery, we do not provide tracking numbers, but maintain a tracking number for each delivery. Shipping Fees

Delivery

Most orders are dispatched within a few days. If for some reason we are out of stock, we will contact you immediately to suggest a replacement item or to organize a back order. No payment will have taken place at this point. Darby Scott does not take any payment until the goods have been packed for your order (except on Special/Custom Order Items that require pre-payment). We endeavor to have all goods shipped within 28 days at the very latest but we will first email you to alert you to such a delay.

Shipping Carrier and Restrictions

We ship all orders via U.P.S. insured. All orders must be shipped to your billing address and require a signature upon receipt. We cannot ship to third parties, Post Office Boxes or AFPO’s. We do this to further protect you and us from the possibility of third party fraud.

In accordance with California State law, we are unable to ship Python products to California.
