We've championed the silk scarf for years, so when Net-a-Porter finally told the world that it was back in style this past weekend, we were ecstatic. From Jackie O. to Grace Kelly to Audrey Hepburn and Kate Moss, all of fashion’s most iconic players have been known to embrace the trend, and for good reason. There is something so easy yet polished about the silk scarf, and so many ways to wear it that it never gets old. Below are some of our favorite no-fuss looks that go beyond the traditional necktie (which, by the way, will never go out of style).

1. The Headscarf
Fold the scarf horizontally and place the middle on your forehead. Wrap the rest of the scarf behind your head and tie in a knot with the ends either tucked into the neck of your blouse or hanging loose.
2. The Pony Wrap
Tie your hair in a ponytail. Fold the scarf into a thin horizontal strip and wrap around the elastic. Either leave the ends loose or incorporate the scarf into a braid with the rest of your hair.
3. The Belt
Fold the scarf horizontally a few times and feed it through your belt loop. Tie it in a knot in front with your shirt tucked in for maximum style points.

4. The Bag Scarf
Take a horizontally folded scarf and wrap it around the handles of your handbag until there is no material left. Alternatively, tie the scarf around the bottom of the handle and let the ends hang loose.
5. The Belted Sash
Wrap the scarf around the waist of a flowy blouse for an effortless belted look.
